How to manage your Emotions ! Do you know why it is important to feel your emotions ? Do you know crying is therapeutic. People believe crying make them weak or too sensitive. Well it is actually a self-soothing mechanism. It can help boost your mood and balance emotions. Let those tears come out because crying is therapeutic. Feel your emotions and let them release. Bottling things up only leads to feeling drained, stressed, overwhelmed and irritable.

I think there is nothing wrong with being in tune with your emotions. People will even call you overemotional, but avoid that. Trust me it is not like that. In addition to that pay attention to how you feel, talk to yourself with extra kindness and love. Anytime you catch yourself being harsh or critical, take a pause. Centre yourself and think about your heart. Think about all the things you do. Give yourself credit that how far you’ve come and give yourself lil appreciation. At this point of time, would like to suggest that surround yourself with people who follow through with their words, who make you feel loved, supported, heard and respected. Read that again !!

Be grateful for the things that are good in your life, and leave aside what is out of your control.

You can move on with your logic, but your partner might get stuck there. And that is not how relationship works. It’s a teamwork, not an individual thing. So, put aside your logic and try to understand what they are really going through. This is the rule number 1 if you really wanna build a deeper connection with your partner.

  1. Watching and listening podcast together. Listening or watching podcast on relationships and self-growth is a powerful activity that can be done together. When you watch & hear relatable content or things together, you can relate things in appropriate manner and that way it shows you both want to work on this connection. By this you can learn more about each other.
  2. Meditate and exercise together. Design a daily spiritual practice. When you meditate together, you’re entering into a different state of consciousness. In addition, meditation and exercise has other benefits as well which will help you both with your individual goals & values.  Which ultimately also impact your relationship.
  3. Have at least one meal together. It is a great way to sit together having meaningful conversation with your partner. You can know about each other’s day & reflect on it together. It can be your uninterrupted time free from all gadgets and technologies.

Above all, any healthy relationship must be based on solid basic friendship. Remember to treat your partner with same kindness, appreciation and respect as you would do to your other friend. In my belief many things will happen, but remember they don’t define you. the world is big enough for everyone, to shine, grow and explore. Moreover I believe to strive for progress not perfection.

I saw many people with stress and anxiety often feel a need to control everything around them in order to feel at peace. Knowing, that anxiety can sometimes feel like being out of control is so validating because it allows us to stop examine and becoming more aware that trying to control everything actually not works. Such people always hope that controlling things will create structure and order, I’ve been there and even I use to think like this! Therefore, it is even more important to share this with you all that we keep reminding ourselves what we are in control of. Your habits, priorities, reaction, choices, attitude, breathe, responses and how do you spend your free time are the common things to think of when we think about control.

4 Important Reminders

  1. Protect your mental & physical health at all times and take the time to do things that make you feel better. Mental and physical health is equivalently precious.
  2. Don’t be so hard on yourself. Remember that you’re doing the best you can with what you have. I always say that I’m doing a great job and so do you. We often doubt ourselves and if you’re doing the same then I suggest to stop it now.
  3. Be patient. You still haven’t met some of the people who are going to love you the most. Life is full of new wonders.
  4. You don’t always have to be on top of things. Not all the days are same, not everything goes as planned and that’s completely okay. Seek new opportunities wherever you go.

In the end, 

A person who works hard, who is truly humble and finds every opportunity to be kind with others is something which is attractive. Try to be that kind of. Remember it is not your age it is just the phase. Be content with your present and always yearn for the future. You’ve to make whether it is a question or choice, life can be anything. Sometimes all you need is That One Person. That One Person who understands you entirely, who you can share your thoughts with safety, trust and without judgement. One person that won’t give up on you, nor you on them. I mean no matter how tough times or things get. Sometimes all you really need is someone to just be there, not saying anything or necessarily doing anything but to be just there when you need them. As you grow old, you realise that quality is far greater than quantity and these relationships or friendships must be treasured. Here I’m sharing my view on how to hold on to them , everything you’ve got and make sure they always know that you’ve got them too. Share this with that one person who means a lot to you.

Love as openly as you do,

You know they say, it’s a weakness to give love as openly as you do. People may take it for granted or else take primacy of it. But I believe not to change because of it. Some of the amazing incredible people you’ll come across in life are the kind that – never let bad change the good in them. Do not change that pure soft heart of yours because the world needs more people just like you. I believe in seeing good in everyone and keep spreading love without fear. This is among the books which I think is worth reading for motivation and self-improvement.

This book is fact paced and more engaging as well. It will surely help you to see new possibilities and better results. The author tells how one can be by pass negative people in their personal and professional life. This book is for every reader and I can’t recommend it enough.

This book is based on Jeff Keller’s journey of being a motivational speaker. Attitude Is Everything is a kind of success manual that gave me a step to step plan for taking control in my life, ending up unleashing my potential. Book consist of 12 lessons namely –

And this is how he shows readers how they too can change their attitude and can bring new possibilities in their lives. Moreover author also shares that’s your attitude is your window which explains that how we look at the world and perceive the world is how we will shape our lives. Your beliefs have brought you to where you’re today and what you’re thinking. As a result, this belief system will take you to where you will be in the future.

What Actually Matters In Life ? Initially I was unable to answer this question. But now at this stage of my life I can definitely relate with the decisions  I’ve made during my earlier years. You will find people asking you what matters in life? Some will say family, friendships, memories, time or experiences. One of the most significant lessons I’ve learn as I progress in life evaluating and valuing What Actually Matters In Life. It’s easy to think money, status, luxury and wealth are important in life but the reality is far different.

Nothing will ever be more important than family, the people you love and the experiences we all have in our lives. Isn’t it ? On the other hand money and wealth may be significant, love and time are even more important in life. In this article I’ll be talking about what actually matters to me and about the ways to identify (what really matters).

What Actually Matters To Me

Relationships, family, friendships, time, memories and experiences are what truly matters in life. This is about those people and things than can not be replaced, even if you try. Purpose is another aspect of life because with out purpose you’ll feel empty and useless of everything.You will lack provision and direction whatsoever. Moreover health is also one of the aspect which is equally important. Without health, you don’t have life. Anything can be done and possible when one is in good health. Taking care of mind, body and soul is important. Mind health can be improved by being more productive, eating well and taking time to reset.

These are the things which gives meaning to life. When you place these aspect at top of your priority list then you’d be leading a great life.

Ways To Identify What Really Matters

  1. A lot of people think that you should give importance or priority to those things that make you feel like you’ve achieved something. Such as money or career, these things are great while money and career are replaceable but time and people aren’t. This is where you need to draw a line in between. Remember if they are not defined by status, it matters.
  2. Always listen to your heart what it actually wants to tell you. You’ve  always known what’s important and what is not. It is just the matter of learning how to give importance to those aspects of life.
  3. Growing is essential part of life figuring out what matters, so it becomes very important to lean towards some non-fiction books. This will definitely gives you knowledge you need to determine which things are important in your life. Read more books to grow more.
  4. We live  in a world where it becomes very easy to influenced by the ideas and opinions of others. So it is important to reflect on your daily life to know what truly matters to you. In the end, your priorities will reflect the outcome of your life.
  5. You’ll only learn what actually matters in life if you stick to who you are. Never ever compromise your morals and values for their comfort but stick to who you’ve always been in life. Stay true to yourself.
  6. By finding your purpose in life you can sometimes find what matters to you. When you’ve purpose it becomes easy to know what’s important, whether that’s your loved ones or time. Remember both the things require purpose so have purpose in life.
