Welcome to Shivana blog, In this blog I’m going to share some of my opinions regarding our pretentious behaviour. STOP Pretending. It is not that you and me only pretend , all the people around us do the same, but the question is why to do it? Some do it of their own free will and some do it in their sight (By seeing somebody or something). They do what they see. But everyone does. Because it doesn’t work without pretending in our society. To make others comfortable we often pretend what others wanna see.
Stop pretending to be-
- fine, when things are bothering you
- positive, when you’re struggling with messy thoughts
- right, when you’re absolutely wrong
- wrong, when you’re absolutely right
- successful, by showing fake results
- happy when you’re not.
So, if you’re doing the same as stated above, then stop doing this right now ! Pretending is permanent, it’s a full time job. It takes a lot of time and energy to pretend, when nothing exists. It play with mind in long run and it cannot be carried out so long. We all gonna meet people who will know who we are; Who might appreciate us for what we are and also for what we want to be. So, resign this full-time job, Do something for your inner soul, it will save your lot of energy. Pretending to be really like someone who you are not, will lead you to loose who you really are; the person you are.
We live in a society full of people pretending to be something they’re not . .
What happens when you pretend?
Say for example, When you pretend to live happy
Initially it won’t effect but in long run it’s gonna worsen your own mental health. When you pretend to be happy in your relationship in your marriage but in real you are not. In the same manner if you pretend to be like someone else may be the person of your choice like we might wish to be like someone else so say if you pretend to be like that, you won’t be able to pretend like somebody else in long run; – I’ve said before we all are unique in our own way so why to pretend?
Coping with the stuff life throws on us is tough. . From the outside, people seems to be holding something they don’t want just like you and me. You are not alone my friend! But if you pretend that you’re ok, you’re doing good! It will effect later and might be you won’t be able to handle those outcomes.
So,
- Take some time out, Don’t underestimate the importance of taking time to relax. Sometimes we get so caught up in our lives and what’s going on around us that we become overwhelmed and tense. Taking time out for selves might help or heal, to unwind and keep some distance from the things that are stressing you out.
- Find some inspiration, keeps you driven and optimistic. There are so many ways by which one can get inspired.
- Stop taking part in gossips and drama, worst part is people enjoy doing it, don’t get excited hearing juicy rumours about people around you, it will lower your vibration.
“Simplify your circle or group of friends. Keep those who add value to your life;
Remove who don’t. Less is always more when your less means more. “
Because definition of social networking platforms has changed. They’re no longer people you know well. Virtual friendship have affected the way society labels. We now call anyone a friend – even a person we met once on a night out.
