3 Ways to build a deeper connection with your partner!

Relationship and Teamwork

The number 1 rule of communication in a relationship is that never throw a logical explanation, when your partner is emotional. It is one of the biggest mistakes we make in a relationship. You can tackle logic with logic. You can tackle emotion with emotion. But you must avoid tackling emotions with logic. You know why? Because it is heartbreaking for them. You can move on with your logic, but your partner might get stuck there. And that is not how relationship works. It’s a teamwork, not an individual thing. So, put aside your logic and try to understand what they are really going through. This is the rule number 1 if you really wanna build a deeper connection with your partner.

3 Ways to build a deeper connection with your partner!

  1. Watching and listening podcast together. Listening or watching podcast on relationships and self-growth is a powerful activity that can be done together. When you watch & hear relatable content or things together, you can relate things in appropriate manner and that way it shows you both want to work on this connection. By this you can learn more about each other.
  2. Meditate and exercise together. Design a daily spiritual practice. When you meditate together, you’re entering into a different state of consciousness. In addition, meditation and exercise has other benefits as well which will help you both with your individual goals & values.  Which ultimately also impact your relationship.
  3. Have at least one meal together. It is a great way to sit together having meaningful conversation with your partner. You can know about each other’s day & reflect on it together. It can be your uninterrupted time free from all gadgets and technologies.

Concluding

Above all, any healthy relationship must be based on solid basic friendship. Remember to treat your partner with same kindness, appreciation and respect as you would do to your other friend. Stay, listen to and laugh with each other. Don’t allow yourself to be rude and disrespectful. In my opinion, couples need to spend a lot of time with each other because there is no substitute for quantity of time. But I would like to add quality to it. Quantity and quality at the same time. Devote at least 20 minutes of your day to meaningful conversation with your partner. Secondly, saying something kind and affectionate to your partner should be your daily habit. The expression of loving nourishes your relationship and helps you both remember what it is you treasure about each other. I hope you like 3 Ways to build a deeper connection with your partner!
