Overcome Dissatisfaction

We humans.. we always confuse what we want (desire)and what we really need (genuine human relations, peace of mind and meaning to life). We are always chasing after things we want like husband/boyfriend, car/bike, expensive watches/clothes, promotion at work and many similar stuff. . They may boost our happiness for a while but very soon, we get adapt to them., They are not capable of fulfilling us in long run. Sadly, it’s an endless loop that continue and continue, until we finally get emotionally depleted to point of feeling exhausted and numb.

This is human nature !

That’s how we are made and we have to deal with it in the best way possible. Most of the people around are restless- to go somewhere, to achieve something. They are damn sure that whatever they are having right now in life is not sufficient and with some amount of hard work and determination, they will acheive what they want, they will reach where ever they want to and they will be happily ever after. But that will not going to happen at all in this way. 

OUR NEEDS FOR CONTROL, CONNECTION AND CONSISTENCY EXPRESS THEMSELVES IN MANY WAYS IN A WORLD THAT HAS BECOME LESS PHYSICALLY THREATENING BUT MORE COMPLEX AND CHALLENGING. .  

BIG     REASON   BEHIND   DISSATISFACTION ?

Dissatisfaction originates due to lack of gratitude.. while there is nothing wrong with getting inspired from people around you. But we humans yes… We tend to confuse inspiration with desire and that leads to them not being grateful enough with things that they have in their life. Which finally leads to Dissatisfaction. One should appreciate small things in life to be satisfied and happy. And that will also inspire you to grow as person in a healthy manner. 

If you are not happy with what you are having then chances are that you will never be happy with what you will ever have .. people around are not dissatisfied because they don’t have enough, they are dissatisfied coz others have more.. that’s the whole problem with the mankind in real world .

No matter what it is we’ve all experienced Dissatisfaction at some point but it’s not the end of the world, In fact with a little help and action you can move from these negativity towards positivity in your life. Your destination and your journey both are different and for your journey you have to choose which would be the right way to reach your destination. Once you decide your own way to achieve your goals, then nothing will stop you. But you have to be more sorted and be grateful for what ever you have .. chasing your dreams in not a bad concept.  . it’s a way for better tomorrow but first let yourself know what are your genuine needs for your life? Just calm yourself then figure out what are your needs at first place and then decide your path to achieve it. And I’m sure you will be able to focus on the way to satisfaction and happiness… a mind full of positive energy and happy soul. 

Even creatures know what are their needs for basic survival and they do work or fight for their better tommorow whether it’s about food or shelter.. they are controlled and have consistency.  we are more capable of doing anything in  our lives but we humans are more mentally challenged ,  more dissatisfied in comparison to them. So with mind full of positivity and heart full of love and prayers let’s bring more satisfaction in our lives and happiness around us.  Spread happiness and joy wherever you go!

Which of these two is most valuable to you?

Just about everyone that I meet will have their own individual opinion on the matter….

” BOTH TIME AND MONEY ARE EXTREMELY IMPORTANT “

People like to say that ” money doesn’t buy happiness. ” While that may be true and may be not..  but fact is that we need money to live and the more money that we make, the more options end up opening for us in our lives..On the other side.. time is our most most important commodity. The thing to consider at this point is –

If you lose money you can make it back. You can never ever get back lost time however. “

Look in this way… If you have more time available.. is like being able to spend more time doing the things that you love, whatever your passion might be, you will be able to focus and dedicate more time to enjoying it. For this .. I would  say that I enjoy being with my passion for life.. I like to do what I want to do in my free time..it may be photography..it may writing blogs…reading novels and sometimes searching new chicken recipe and it never ends.   If you have more time available, the other thing you can do is- spend valuable time with the people who matter the most to you. Spending quality time with your significant, makes many relationship stronger. At weekends me and my friends plan to visit our friends place or may be any lounges in the city ..we talk.. we laugh  …. we share our thoughts and end up with some useless and useful discussion. I love  being with them!   For those who have children.. all the mommies out there… It’s very important to be there for the big moments when there kids are growing up. It’s very important to spend time understanding each other and your loved ones.. family.. life is family!

If you have more time available, try to avoid doing pointless busy work that really doesn’t matter in the long run. Try to manage your time on doing work that actually matters to you. I always plan my working and non working days accordingly..making list of do’s and not to do’s helped me a lot…these are the benefits of having more time available.. more time to spend doing work you love, following your passions and making memories with your loved ones are priceless benefits. No one can deny how important Time is for us all!A Ahaaaaa… 💰 money. I’m not saying money isn’t important! It is as well. Some like to live luxurious life and some like to live extremely frugally… Well that you have to figure out exactly how you want to live and how much you need to do so.. and you will be happy in the end! We can find way to make money and more money, but there are no chances for us to make or create more time. We can’t add an extra hour to the day. I always plan my expenses.. where to spend and where to not.. making budget and listing things required help me avoid shopping unnecessarily. Spending money  wisely is a very good habit. Buying things makes me happy for a while but later.. it might be disturbing my monthly budget. So I think once or twice before I invest .

Let us think in this way… Think back to the best memories in your life so far! Very rarely do we sit and think back! Cherished memories come from time spent with people we love and in places we adore. For vacations.. we definitely need money, but memories can be made walking hand in hand with your loved ones, it can be made by dancing and spending time with family and friends..and lots more and more.

Time gives us memory, we can look back and laugh.. may be cry.. while money may help in that! But never make money as your priority” .

You may have all money..but you only have certain time in which to spend it. Money can buy you a lot, but it can’t buy you happiness .. memories…which is why time is the most valuable resource we all have. 

When you put time against money,

Money helps you live your life over that time….

But it is the time that gives us the greatest benefits and lots of love and more.

Try to do better in your life …. Because

Diwali! The festive season and a way to rejoice special moments.

    ONE OF THE MOST POPULAR FESTIVAL OF INDIA

 

Diwali is five day festival and each day has its own rituals. On Diwali, we worship goddess Lakshmi and Lord Ganesha, who symbolizes wealth, wisdom, prosperity and good fortune. It also symbolizes the spiritual ” victory of lights over darkness”. Festive season brings a lot of work and fun and my Diwali preparation starts almost one month before. The festive season is decorating the house with lights, flowers, Rangoli and with decorative items,.. and most important delicious food and traditional sweets and dishes at home. 

This season means celebration and celebration are meant to rejoice special moments and emotions in our lives and with our loved ones. At this festive season, they all serve the purpose of bringing happiness to our lives and to strengthen unity among people. What I like most  about Diwali is sweets; a lot of it . . . From the tempting barfis to the salty peppery mathris.. apart from snacks.. I like julab gamun… Ok Gulab Jamun! I like every bit of it . .

Diwali celebration in India is a truly unforgettable experience. It is also a time when we Indian buy new  clothes, almost as to welcome new beginnings and the new year ahead. Diyas and candles are placed at the very thresholds of every home, office and shops. Rangolis that are symbols of nature drawn in bright colors to welcome Lakshmi inside.

For me .. Diwali is the best way to revive yourself.. so glad to share colorful rangolis, diyas and decorations of my house.Today I feel gifted and blessed that my Diwali was full of affection, love, and happiness. May God always bless us.

WHAT                  HURT’S                   CAN                       BE                         HEALED     . . . 

All that hurts you, can be forgived. In fact I might go as far to say that if we are ready to forgive immediately we’re might be repressing our pain; when we are unable to forgive after long period of times we slip into “Resentment”.

Forgiveness doesn’t mean that you don’t feel anger. Sometimes we can not deal with our own pain, so we act unconsciously and in turn, hurt those we care about. . . To have better results, we have to choose to let someone go, because their presence in our lives no longer serves us. Try to release people throughout your life because you are moving down to different paths. No matter how many times people around you say  ” We understand ” but they don’t.

You may even resent them for trying, we may share similar experiences, but every hurt … “every single hurt is personal”. . .  Never compare your situations with others because you are not wellawared about their life and their experiences.

It’s very very important to take a break from your pain and get engage in healthy compartmentalization. Every one find relief in different ways.. Some may find it in creative activities ( . .I do ) such as writing, reading, music, art or movies.; Others may find in moving like dance, long walks, long drives! Choose a task allows you to escape from one to another reality; Even if it is only for few moments, it doesn’t matter.. my friend.

What comes in our ways to peace and understanding?

OUR   EGOS !

This ego thing stop us even if we desire to live peaceful life, it will kill your talent, your happiness, your career.. too much ego can ruin your life. If you listen to the ego, there will always be someone doing better than you. no matter what you gain, the ego will not let you rest.. Try to adapt to different people and situations to feel worthy and accepted. It takes a lot of personal work to discover who you are and not to be driven by temptations of the ego. The truth is that in the process of our personal developmental journey and life challenges we are bound to get hurt.

Learning to let go of your egos is very easy in theory, however can be very difficult to execute in the moment. But it’s not impossible. When i think about my times I’ve been frustrated I always recognize a single thought that ,

“Drop your ego! You have nothing to lose here, but a whole life to win.”

Excuses

 

YOU CAN ONLY CONTROL YOURSELF 

Humans. . yes we humans , we can only control ourselves  but we are fantastic at picking a wide range of excuses to limit our possibilities.. and this include in many areas of lives.. say for example ..going gym to studying for an exam. Yup! We all do this and excuses are often the primarily reasons behind why we are unable to accomplish what we want out of our lives ? Coz of this, one of the best habit we can build is to proactively make a commitment to stop making excuses; start taking steps that are necessary to get what we want out of our lives ?

WHY WE MAKE EXCUSES ? 

DO WE MAKE EXCUSES JUST TO GET OUT OF DOING ANYTHING ? 

Sometimes, this is true. . But there are many motives behind such excuses .. come let us find reasons behind such excuses :

Our biggest reason of making excuses is  . . FEAR !

Fear of failure … Fear of responsibilities.. Fear of comparison.. let me tell you more about our fears. Fear is the thing which keep us inside of our comfort zone and stop us from venturing out into unknown. Many of us are often afraid of things coz they don’t understand them or may be they lack all the information they need. Fear of failure exist within us.. and it continously stop us doing good. It is very important to remember that we don’t lose everything when we fail. Failure just means things are not going the way we expected them to go. Without any experience and perspective, we often make assumptions or jump to conclusions about possible outcomes that could negatively impact us.

If we don’t have any specific and measurable goals, it is very easy to make excuses to avoid doing something that we don’t want to do. Having specific goals in mind.. we are less likely to come up with an excuses everyday. We make excuses because we are scared to make mistakes. Mistake might seem like the end of world to us .. . But mistakes are actually valuable!P AU SE .. think about the mistakes you made in life .. they have actually added strength to your character. It is important to see mistakes as being beneficial and critical part of our lives and embrace them. Another fear is fear of comparison. . We all make excuses so we won’t be compared to other people coz we are not even giving ourselves a chance to succeed. Who knows.. compared with someone else, we may be the best !

It’s very common we want to protect ourselves from harm in any way. It may me physical.. emotional…or mental. We always on the lookout for just a little bit to keep ourselves safe. . Excuses hold us back and leave us thinking we are not good enough, capable enough to perform. All these negative thoughs get us no where. It get us paralyzed in our fears. We compare ourselves with other without knowing about their lifestyle.. comparing our life with others is not useful coz we are not aware with others situations.

Just compare your current version with your previous version of life.

…and start improvement. We never think about in this way coz we are not ready for the responsibilities.. yes our fear of responsibilities…another reason behind excuses. We are not ready to go out and explore ourselves, not ready to grow! As per many research… It has been found that we make excuses to protect our fragile egos from failures…

“WHEN YOU HAVE BIG GOALS AND YOU MAKE EXCUSES TO AVOID ALL THE SMALL HABITS AND TASKS NEEDED TO ACHIEVE SAID GOALS, THEN MY FRIEND .. YOU ARE REALLY … REALLY SCREWING UP YOU LIFE .” Just continue to be comfortable with yourself, most of all .. try and remember….“if you don’t risk anything, you risk more.”

So dream big, focus small and stop making excuses!

 

  • Try to specifically define what you want to achieve ASAP. The less clear you are about what you want to do, the less effective your plan will be .Be more sure about your task and ideas. Always keep in mind that your plan may change as you work towards your goal.. so be flexible it will help you a lot.
  • Physically writing things down will make you more likely to do them . . And I agree..  I use to write down my tasks and my ideas in my diary and plan my week days in my planner in possible manner. By doing this .. keeping planner helps you overcome stress and feel calmer coz it makes less likely that you will consider on what you needs to be done.
  • Last but not the least readers… Execution! Execution is very simple concept to talk about. But it’s hard one to apply. Once, we know about what it is we want .. how we are going to get it and what we need to do. Then we can move to the final step which is execution.Forget about everything apart from this plan and the end goal you desire.

Every one has a time in life when we feel low. This is when being with our partner makes us stronger. When someone believes in you, inspires you, strengthen you, then you realize what being in relationship really means. Being strong together… Leaving as team… Having goodtime,.. these all comprises to a healthy relationship.. but there is lot to make a relationship healthier and happier.

RESPECT.    YOUR.     RELATIONSHIP.

Being in love is not hurtful..it is the growth and ego that stings. Each transformation is painful because the old situation is left behind for the new. The real problem is in the mind and the mind wants you to hang on to a situation that is known , well awared and comfortable. ” Love cannot be controlled. . It can only be received and accepted ”

LOVE IS FRAGILE

… with this, be present with love , care and it will grow and expand. Never judge yourself or your relationship with others, bring loving awareness to yourself and be careful not to judge unnecessary.. you always have a choice between experiencing pain and suffering or love, peace and joy. It all depends on you how you interupt  to situation, by taking the responsiblities on your own, you will create strength and wisdom inside you! A life without love is life that is withered and dried up. By choosing love, we are choosing happiness in our lives and possiblities and new hopes. “MUTUAL RESPECT IS A VERY SIMPLE CONCEPT” . It means that you response your partner in a thoughtful and courteous way. Try to avoid treating each other in rude and disrespectful way. ..

Love in a relationship is a feeling but respect is something which is to be earned. Love and respect both complement each other. But respect should be given more value as per my personal view. Two people can live together even if they don’t love each other but are respectful towards each other. Respect can last forever without love , but love can not last forever without respect. I like respecting in very calm way to express my feelings….

Respecting each other is an unspoken way of communication which can build strong relationship between people who gives respect to each other. I think it is very important to treat others with respect in order to have healthier and happier  relationship… Being respectful towards people and maintaining positive relationship will results happiness and success in your life.While it is important to respect your partner in a relationship.. it is also very important to have respect for yourself. I think it is the way of building confidence and maintaining healthy relationship with other people throughout your life.

” accept yourself as a whole person ” .. we all deserve respect even if we are not perfect. 

Just hold yourself to your own standards and try not to worry too much about what people think of you.Take care of mind and body, eat healthy, be good to you.. just honor who you are..

Respect and loyalty are not upgrades in a relationship..

They are a requirement !

Be yourself first and make yourself happy.. then only you can make others happy !

well.. it can also be known as personal development, both by developing your mind and body

Self development means one should believe their capabilities and always willing to improve themselves, better than yesterday. There are certain ways you can adopt and improve your dull lifestyle ..

Your life is not about finding yourself, it’s about living your life at your own terms. By every single day, don’t just go through life.. grow through life!  Grow rich and healthier both by mind and body. Don’t absorb everything in your life, think once before you decide anything important and precious in your life. By knowing others is may  be sort of intelligence but remember by knowing yourself is  true strength . . try to master yourself instead of mastering others.

Gratitude . . 

feel thankful everyday if you are not feeling thankful towards well being. You can thank yourself for whatever you have, also by thanking your family and friends for being with you in your good and bad times. Always look consciously and remind yourself for daily activities and make it a habit. Try to be happy for both big and small things which are happening in your life, because ” whatever happens.. happens for reason”.. always feel appreciation for those who surrounds you both at home and work.

try to change your perspective towards everything happening in your life. By which I mean both good and bad. Don’t let your mind to think negative, observe both sides and then let yourself towards final conclusion. keep yourself from distractions.. allow yourself to think useful and commendable ideas; by doing superb task and executing your plans in well mannered way.

Be organised, . .   for better and positive results .. make plans or to-do-lists.. by which you can organised your work in simpler manner. take a planner and plan your whole week tasks. . . moment you start arranging your work, you will realize how to end a particular task with positive results.. you will end up with mind full of satisfaction and happiness. mind with happiness and peace can start thinking and receives many more good ideas. Be more effective and organised with your working profile.

Assertiveness. ,. never see  eye to eye … 

always speak your mind! Advocate yourself, identify your likes and dislikes.. know yourself and share what you feel. never let yourself down just because of others.. make yourself bold enough to speak your mind, appreciate yourself..eventually you will improve your personality.

Overcome fears; 

we all have some fears, related to relationships, work and may be related to past, Get rid of those memories.. get yourself free from those who never supports you in your bad times. Never think or get feared for how you will survive alone? or what will you do if they left? … just be you and love yourself for who you are and be happy with your own company.. share your views with yourself when you feel less.. and as I said above.. speak your mind, because when you speak your mind, you feel good about yourself.

Life is really very simple, very simple !

What we give out, we get back. I believe that everyone including myself is responsible for everything in our lives, the best and the worst. Each one of us creates our experiences by our own thoughts and feelings. The thoughts we think and the words we speak create our experiences. We create situation and then we give our power away by blaming others for our frustration .. what we believe about ourselves and about life becomes true for us.

Make a decision to be “willing to change”. .

We all want to have  our lives change, want situation becomes better and easier, but we don’t want to have change. In order to have this happen, we must change our way of thinking .. change our way of speaking, change our way of expressing ourselves. Only then will the outer changes occur! There are many ways to change but working with any idea is not the only way to change.

Awareness in changing . . . 

if we think of toughest task for us to do and how much we resist it not doing .. giving up the resistance and letting yourself to do task will make next step even easier . we often assume things about others to justify our resistance.. we also make statements like.. my problem is different.. you will not understand… I don’t believe in it and many more.

To find long term happiness we need to free our brain from negative thoughts to change towards positive thoughts. By spending few minutes looking for positives in our life. Be thankful to whatever we have in our lives; be grateful and seek positivity in every situation and choose a positive mantra – say ” I can and I will ”  … and keep repeating it in your mind . Never underestimate the importance of recognizing silver linings in life . .by celebrating little success in day to day to life and taking pleasures in these little achievements, Remember, life is full of ups and downs ! by thanking ourselves for little achievements we are moving towards healthier life.

I like to spend my spare time using my imagination and Being creative and more likely to have feelings of long term happiness and well being. Many of us strive for perfection- we desire to push ourselves to be our best. but in order to be truly happy , we must embrace the imperfection that is part of life. Perfection is impossible and holding ourselves and other to these standards  is futile. Accept that life is beauty and grace is that imperfection.

DO WHAT YOU LOVE _ 

it’s pretty hard to maintain happiness if we hate our work/ job, but if we want to be truly happy, focus on building career in an area that motivates you and will provide with higher  level of satisfaction, and this happiness factor will go up exponentially.

USE TIME WISELY . . 

by using our time wisely and prioritizing our goals helps us define our purpose and passion in life. Reality is what we are experiencing in this very moment. What we are going through right now, sometimes we want to escape that reality. But when we stay in the present,  we are fully engaged in our lives . ” endeavor to live in in the moment  and you will begin to have deeper appreciation for your life”. Always be generous with your time and your money. Give it to those in need. Give to those you love and care for.


BOOST YOUR HAPPINESS. . . One of the best things you can do to boost your happiness is to just  be yourself . That means not to depend on others for approval, accept yourself for who you are.. spend more time to getting know yourself, stop comparing yourself to everyone around you !
