In this blog I’m sharing some amazing facts about chia seeds along with that its nutritional value and health benefits. Read the blog till the end sharing some related recipes as well. If you like this blog do share with your family and friends. Chia seeds- Born in mexico, later in central and south america. These are small in size, brown and black in colour. These are hydrophilic in nature that means when soaked in water these seeds absorb up to 12 times their weight. And that is the reason that one can consume this seeds simply with water.

Chia seeds are comprises of carbs, fat, proteins, vitamins and enormous amount of minerals in it. These are excellent source of omega-3 fatty acids (Good cholesterol) beneficial for heart. It have the shelf life of about 2-4 years, if stored with instructions and best by date. These are easy to digest because of fibre in it and promote the feeling of fullness. I personally love to consume chia seeds by soaking them in water bottle and sometimes in my smoothie bowls / fruit bowls as well.

Are chia seeds really good for you?

As stated above chia seeds have the property of absorbing water, they can be consumed as good source of nutrition for potential health. But eating too many cause some side effects. Since they have fibre in it, excess of fibre can cause abdominal pain, constipation, bloating and gas. Also chia seeds may cause risk of choking if not consumed carefully. If taking with water, better be careful. It can cause blockage in throat. Always make sure to soak them in water for 10 to 15 minutes.

Chia seeds contain good amount of Alpha linolenic acid (ALA)- a type of omega-3 fatty acids and it is good for health. A large observational study showed that ALA intake can cause risk of advanced prostate cancer in men. many of you might be allergic to chia seeds and may have the symptoms including gastrointestinal itching, swelling after eating them. Consult your doctor immediately. Watch your daily intake of nutrition according to your blood levels, people on medications for blood pressure.

Facts about Chia seeds and women health

These tiny seeds are full of antioxidants- which is good for better skin and prevent from skin damage. It prolong skin aging. Secondly, it can increase your collagen levels, again beneficial for glowy skin. All the women out there start including this in your diet along with that one can grind these seeds and can use them as a face mask as well. But again I would say be careful while consuming them. The omega-3 fatty acids component in chia seeds have the property of killing cancer cells. Hence it help to fight breast and cervical cancer as well.

Avocados are full of nutrition. It contains Vitamin C, E , K and B-6, Iron, calcium, also magnesium and potassium. They also provide a good amount of omega-3 fatty acids. It is a complete pack of daily dosage required for body functioning. Avocado is a fun food . Those who eat this during breakfast can influence things like blood flow ( Blood pressure).

If you’re really looking to your weight, one should stick to about one- half or one whole of it per day. And overall, avocados are known for brain functioning and healthy brain, because of healthy fats in it. So avoid overdose, have it in nice portion to get complete benefit.

Because of substances called sorbitols, which is a kind of carbohydrate that might affect sensitive stomach or to those who have bowel issues. If anyone have too much avocado in one meal it can cause bloating or pain in gut. So better be careful while including this in your diet, manage your portions accordingly. Avocados are considered healthy during pregnancy as well because of its amazing benefits as stated above. However who are allergic to this fruit should avoid to prevent dangerous reactions in body. For some they might be harmful during pregnancy.

Side effects of Avocado

  • They can cause allergy like skin irritation, redness with major issues.
  • Due to certain avocado oil, these elements have carcinogenic properties. It can damage liver. If you are suffering from any kind of liver issue better to avoid this fruit.
  • Due to high calories it can increase your weight, if you are on a diet then you should avoid eating avocado.
  • If consumed in large amounts, it can cause some sort of mouth allergies as well.
  • Avocados in large amount can cause gastro and stomach irritation.
  • Ensure that you take health benefits from avocado not negative effects.

Feeling of NOT DOING ENOUGH

Do you feel like you’re NOT DOING ENOUGH ? 

Then read this. 

Watching other people’s success can trigger the feeling of insufficiency. No matter what we do in our lives, it doesn’t quite seem to be enough or sufficient. Unknowingly we set unrealistic expectations or benchmarks for ourselves, and that can cause this feeling of inadequacy that nothing is ever quite nice enough. In such situations it’s very easy to overwhelm even more. It can put you under stress on already responsible shoulders. There’s always a way to improve our paths in our lives. But sometimes it feels like this is never-ending race when we constantly chase the new more and next thing. It’s enormously feeling like we need to do everything possible. There’s a feeling of NOT BEING ENOUGH.

In this blog I’m going to share how I’ve been dealing with this feeling of not doing good enough in my life. Read the blog till the end and you’ll find some possible tips to counter this dread if you feel this same way as I do. Let’s begin. 

What cause the feeling of NOT DOING ENOUGH?

Load or Stress:

I’ve been trying to do plenty of my work on time and try to allow myself to take more if it. I’ve set some internal expectations for myself because of what I feel for my capabilities and as well as expectations coming from Relationships, social needs and family. Sometimes I feel I’m not getting enough recognition and appreciation for what I’ve done or doing at my work. So, I start thinking that I’m doing something wrong or simply not doing sufficient. That stress adds load to my to-do lists. Family, friends who have good intentions for you might say things like you should be doing this instead of that! It becomes very difficult sometimes to convince yourself that what you are doing is right. 

To be perfect : 

Every little step can contribute to our growth. Many times I’ve to take a step back and to rethink, reframe the task as directed or planned. 

I read a book a month ago, Author says that everything in our lives is built on our actions and our tiny steps. Over the time these tiny steps build a closer Relationships. Every tiny step you are doing adds up to something bigger and greater. 

Whatever we all doing is enough.

Game of comparison: 

I don’t compare myself to other people, but I found one of  my friend doing this very often. She always compared herself to friends and family because she see their success but very less their struggle behind. I always talk to her about highs and lows in one’s life. This game of comparison is the another reason for feeling insufficiency. This negative inner voice convinces us that we are not good enough. This negative self talk is the reason behind the things that no one else feed into our minds. The moment we start believing such voices, thoughts, they can really impact our lives. Reframe, Rethink and Restart

Tips to avoid negative self talks:- 

  • Divide your attention when working on many things at once.
  • Stop overwhelming yourself
  • Do fewer things with sufficiently
  • Focus on what’s necessary
  • Focus on what’s fits into the vision you’ve
  • Learn balancing. Focus on family, health, career and Relationships all together. 
  • Remember you can not do everything
  • Keep in your mind that whatever you’re doing is already enough
  • Stop comparing yourself
  • Stop over-committing yourself
  • Evaluation of time and see where your efforts are going
  • Plan your daily success schedule
  • Last but not the least don’t forget to love yourself.

Self-confidence is the most beautiful thing you can have,

My sister asked me what’s the difference between self-confidence and arrogance? Am I self- confident or arrogant? she asked me! And we had a long discussion about this, at last she asked me to write about this on my blog. So here it is. Expressing my views and sharing some tips on how to maintain balance and what’s the difference between the term self-confidence and arrogance. Read the blog till the end followed by some tips for effective and efficient living.

Believe in yourself,

People often fail to maintain balance between self-confidence and arrogance in their lives. Having self-confidence in life to achieve something is another task. Being self confident means trying to be best version of yourself. Keep updating yourself. We all are aware of the term humbleness or humility or modesty. How many of you have understood the true meaning of this word? How many of you have included this in your life? We try but we are not able to do it properly. Self-confidence and modesty go hand- in- hand.

Avoid Arrogance

Arrogance and humbleness are completely opposite on scale. Who is humble can be self confident. Self-confidence means to be best version of yourself. Being better than yesterday. By saying be the best version of yourself doesn’t mean that you’re the best in the world. The moment you start thinking that you’re the best in the entire world, your self-confidence turns into arrogance. There’s a very thin line between self-confidence and arrogance. People often get confused, they do not know when they became an arrogant person from self confident.

Self-confidence means I’m the best version of myself. On the other hand, arrogance means I’m the best in the world.

There is a difference between the two. Keep Learning, Keep your mind, heart and wakefulness open to learn from people around you. There’s always something to learn from people around you. Everybody has so much to offer. Remember Arrogance stops you to learn. The moment you become arrogant, you stop learning. Arrogance is the significant barrier of self growth. The moment you think you know everything, you know it all and you need no improvement is the greatest enemy of growth. If you want to be self confident, Learning is very important factor which helps you to grow. To be the better version of yourself, one should have the feeling of improvement, to learn something and to grow.

Have Self-confidence,

To grow actually; Self-confidence is great, Arrogance is not. Trust yourself to do the best. Tips to balance self-confidence and to avoid arrogance is to open your mind to learn something wherever you go. Now at this point when I say open your mind to learn, that means learn or grab the knowledge, skills from people who is equal to you, lower to you as well as higher than you. It’s hard to hear from people equal to you. The psychology behind this is when you hear to people who is higher than you, you put them in the position of authority. When it comes to hear people equal to you, ego and envy comes between. Lastly, when it comes to hear people lower than you, psychology behind is you think you know better and more than them. Everybody offers something. Learn from experiences of others. Listen to them, learn and grow.

Don’t go through life, grow through life!

I heard that, when you’re simply talking you are only repeating what you know but when you’re listening to others, you are actually learning something. I found this important and sharing what I heard with you all. Do not doubt your abilities and do not overthink what people will say. Follow your heart, your intuition and focus on your path. Avoid too focused on suggestions or comments of others, it will affect your mental health. Listen to your inner voice, shouldn’t care about with others think and trust yourself. I tried many tricks and tips to boost my self-confidence, many books and practising learning with listening helped me a lot. I guess it will help you all as well. ” Because one believes in oneself, one doesn’t try to convince with oneself, one doesn’t need others approval. Because one accepts oneself, the whole world accepts him or her – Lao Tzu.” YOU CAN DO BETTER !

Begin with !

With all the awareness that is out there so many people around us fail to implement this piece of advice into their life that you don’t have to look too far on social media on Twitter, Instagram or Internet to find information about how it has become an important variable in people lives.

I have been working on my life with the aspirations of achieving more than balance in my life. Knowingly what hard work can yield. I have worked on two jobs and then doing internships or extra curricular activities. I found that if you do anything out of extra curricular activities for example if you are going for painting, sketching, dancing like any kind of fitness sports, I found something is required. Which is called balance. An overall feeling of happiness is a good kind of indicator of having achieved this balance.

Like finding time to relax on weekends with loved ones, you are happy to go to work and if you are putting your best effort and you feel physically well. But these are the very general indicators of having a balance but they do signify an important aspects of balance that you should look to achieving. Do you find enjoyment in your day to day life? To Find time for yourself is not a luxury. Finding enjoyment in your day-to-day life is what makes life wonderful. I know we live in a different world than our parents and grandparents but back in the day people took time to sip the lemonade, set in the moment near riverside or say beach and enjoy doing nothing.

There are many ways to increase balance in life and it’s easier than you think. You didn’t become overworked and over scheduled overnight, So make small changes until you reach your goals, it’s within your reach. If you work at it, finding a balance is not that difficult what we people think.

For work life balance:

The elements in life require the most balancing- Internally and externally. Oftentimes we focus on one more than the other. People can find focus on external things; on work, Relationships and actions, but pay very little attention to what is going on inside your heart and mind. On the other hand, you may find that you spend too much on wellness. That you sometimes forget to experience living.

For Heart, Mind and health: These three requires challenges, rest to your mind and Creating opportunities. Watch what you eat, drink. Exercise properly and treat yourself with extra care. Give love and take love.

For Work, family, social, and fun : These requires to see bigger picture and enjoying the ride together. That goes hand in hand. Take time for yourself, don’t be busy satisfying your social desires. Set you departure time from your office. Avoid taking a deep dive in something you are not sure or say complicated project. While fulfilling your familial responsibility, don’t forget to create healthy boundaries. Assign time for things you enjoy doing and making sure you don’t over do.

When you get stuck in traffic how do you feel?

One day I got stuck in heavy traffic and it took me four hours to get back home. While I was in traffic sitting in my car, was observing people around me, their reactions on particular situation. A 32- year old man standing near me shouting in anger on person sitting on bike unnecessarily. Many people tried to pacify the man but he was not conscious of listening to anyone. When we are angry, our ability to think is reduced. and without this it is unable to win battle of life.

Isn’t it frustrating? Being stuck somewhere you never want,  made us feel  anger, depression and sadness. We all feel same. As a result, we always in eager to move. Movement brings some sort of satisfaction and a ray of hope in our mind. The people standing there were also trying to get out quickly if someone finds a way in a little. In addition to that, A man was in such a hurry that he broke his leg! 

Hurrying is mostly a loss. They say that the act of hurrying is done by the devils. It is said here that if you do any work, you should do a little bit of thinking. 

Whether it is our personal life, relationships, business, career or say traffic none of us want to feel stuck in one place.  Regardless, of any field in our lives. We all want to make progress and achieve success. To achieve something you wish for in your live require three things to keep in mind. 

Firstly, stop thinking what others will think, what others will say?

You will also think what people will think so what will people think ? You do what you want. Listen to the advice given by others but do think twice before working on that given advice. Don’t forget your voice. Do not lose your inner voice in that noise. 

They say, people will say something, they are accustomed to doing so. Be careful in listening to them, time may fly away. People will say something. So listen to the advice given by the one who  failed and those who have succeeded as well.  Use your own discretion following of  advice. Don’t be afraid of making mistakes. How we will learn and gain experience if we don’t make mistakes? Right! When we lose we learn and when we win we can teach. 

Secondly, stop saying that your stars are bad! If you’re saying so. I know we do have bad time but that doesn’t mean that bad time will stay forever, even bad time has bad time one day and it will pass away. We should keep working for our dreams even if it is your bad time, so that you will be ready when your good time arrive. So please don’t wait for your stars to change. Keep working hard, focusing on small wins and doing things rightly.

Hard-work is an investment and when your time will change.  Your stars changes and you’ll be prepared, future ready. Ready to reap the harvest of success. They say don’t just go by the lines on your palm, those who don’t have palms have also crafted their success. 

At last,

Take this idea of perfect life or that your life can be perfect, out of your mind. Everyone wants an ideal life, a perfect life wherein everything is good and everybody is happy. Take this superstitious thought out of your mind. Life is a mystery . . .  Hard to understand. 

Some people stay away from their dreams to be there  with dear ones yet others stay away from their dear ones to fulfill their dreams. 

Ask yourself, will it ever  happen that all our dreams and aspirations get fulfilled ? What we want and what we wish requires different 👉Managing Mindset. Our life may indeed be full of wounds, let time be the ointment. 👉Heal and Move on !

We have to lose our life from death one day but let’s first learn to win our game of life. Win the battle of life.

We all fight two kinds of battles in our lives. First internally and second externally. Internally with our own mind and body, on the other hand externally with the people around and surrounding areas. External battle is mostly with the world – the enemy around us. The key I found to win the battle of life is to trust in God and let your persistence and patience take in charge. It may take time to defeat the battle but as long as you don’t give up, you will finally gain victory.

What is self discovery ?

Everything we categorise or think of loss can be converted into win. Within each day, each moment of life, each challenge and mistake there’s something to be won. The magic of life is about self discovery. It’s completely our job to recognise the  opportunity and to find out the wins for personal growth and to move forward wiser, self aware and prepared for the  next battle in life.

We all have our own individual realities in our lives whether it’s related to work, home, lifestyle or say relationships. Everything in our life is our own, happiness or sorrow is all different. The reality of life is not the same all the time, today there is something, tomorrow it will be something else, and day after tomorrow it is going to be something else. Then why we want someone else to bother about our reality all the time? Like, we as humans and we all have our own perspective of seeing things as compared to other. We all have different opinions, emotions , have different abilities to react to act, but still we think same when it comes to our mindset. I would like to say it is quite similar in our lives.

Somewhere I read that everything in life is temporary, but even that is not permanent. In addition, I would like to say, What we want permanent is temporary and the one who wants temporary is permanent in our lives. Whether good or bad in our life, that thing leaves its mark or just say that a lesson is learned. Sometimes that situation makes a deep impact on the mind, which never forgets, no matter how hard you try it is not. Who you are today What you have today Where are you standing today in your life, that’s your reality. And it’s not just for you or me it’s for all of us. Whatever your reality is, that is the result of your efforts and your decisions that you ever had or made before.

Secondly,

Whatever the reality is whether good or bad whatever it is , it is your own, not of anybody else. So if you really wanna improve or change your reality in your life and of your own. Then the only thing you need to do is to make efforts and take right decisions in proper manner to make it happen.

I know nobody else is going to do it for you. But there might be someone who help you to do so but again it’s one’s individual choice to know the difference between who’s your well-wishers and who’s not. In today’s time, it has also become difficult to find out.

As a result, in such situation if you have one who know you well and whom you trust (not a blind faith) with them you can expect that whatever your reality is they think a little bit about that too; tell you the solution to your problem and stand with you in whatever the situation comes in your life. But at this point expecting this all the time with anyone is quite silly and impossible at the same time. Because everyone else is busy with there life issues and their outcomes.

We should help them in their lives and decisions as well. If you are expecting someone wrong (person) to worry about you, then you are fooling. You’re mistreating yourself and soon or later you’ll mislay your peace of mind. If you wanna live peacefully then do more and expect less in your lives. I think maybe you be happy and slowly you can achieve peace of mind .

Below are some tips for you to expect less and live peacefully

  • Decide what you want and what is important to you. Do not fool around. Analyze or examine your commitments, your decisions which you’ve been made before and the decisions you’re going to make.
  • If you’re moving rapidly, them slow down and enjoy every bit of your day. Try to improve the things which you don’t like.
  • Change your pattern. Try something new not daily but once in a week one can do and can manage time to do so.
  • Stick to your beliefs, listen to others. Take advice (especially whom you trust) but do think your worth, your actions and your thoughts.
  • Start working both internally and externally on yourself.
  • Do not control others , seeking love is good but don’t impose your reality on others. A controlling approach will harm you and your relationships.
  • Improve your tolerance, sooner or later it will help you in the way you think. In the way you react or you act. Practising this will help you to trust your own beliefs and help you to trust others.
  • Surround yourself with peaceful images or people and things.
  • Don’t overreact. When something happens take a pause and then react. Stop yourself if you think no reaction is required.
  • No revenge seek forgiveness. Forgiveness lifts you up ( I tried and it helped me) it’s about learning coping from bad and negativities.
  • Live in joy and be the change you wanna see in the world. Start working today for your life you wanna live.
  • Broaden your understanding of peace and life .

Living alone for short time or say for long time. It’s an starting experience for some and empowering for one, that is normal. Things which seems normal to you may be challenging for some. There will be lot of firsts in your lives. There is a misconception about living alone. By saying – living alone does not mean living 100% alone. Living alone helps to get prepared and get adjust to your perspective as required.

  • Get yourself a security, emotional security. Get rid of emotional fear of getting harm
  • Cultivate self reliance, by this I mean to say one should learn to manage minor problems and tasks by on your own. By this you will get to know yourself in the process. This can leads to inner growth and maybe make you more compassionate in long run.
  • Do not isolate yourself, surround yourself with positive souls, it will prevent you from heartache

Exploring is a good concept in relationships

I think there is no harm in it. Involvement of third person doesn’t always ruins relationship but there are high level of possibilities that it may does. As human, we chase new things, new experiences and new adventures in our lives, in our relationships. We like to explore our experiments and our experiences with new things. Not everyone get satisfied with what they have and then they try to explore new things. (Exploring is good concept, we all should explore new things in our lives but involving third person in relationship doesn’t relate with exploring).

Jealousy in relationships

As human we are very territorial with our food, family, our belongings and of course – – our relationships! And this happens with all of us once in a lifetime. We all do. But there might be an issue when a third person get involved in your relationship and ruining it instead of adding happiness in it. Not everyone in our lives get happy for our happiness, some might get jealous of what we have and what they lack in their lives. Maintaining a healthy relationship requires a lot, a lot of non stop efforts only if that relationship that person bothers you. It can be hard, to find what you are looking for in your relationships or you might think that yours is unhealthy and what’s truly important.

Reasons why third person involvement happens  and how it ruins a relationship. 

  • Boredom – Some people get bored very easily and they are more interested to find out new things. When you lose interest in your own relationship, new things gives you thrill and excitement. You want to try new things with new people and again after some time you get bored and then again you wanna find new things and so on. People with this attitude often have so so so many relationships in their lifetime. (Such person are not meant to be in a relationship; Not everyone wants a long-lasting relationships). Instead of doing this or going on this path, try to make your existing relationship exciting and thrilling. 
  • Don’t take each other for granted. Because, when we are in a relationship with the same person for long time we get manipulated easily and we think that whatever we do whether it is wrong or right or something else ; they will forgive for that. And with this attitude, couples get separate from their relationship easily. 
  •  Respect is important. This is my go – to advice for maintaining healthy relationship, Troubleshooting and making it satisfying. Mutual respect is great concept for maintaining healthy and long-lasting relationship. When someone is seeking respect in their relationship and they do not get respect, they go to wherever (tend to find third person) they get respect. (Involvement of third person happens)
  • Use communication as an sidekick. If you have a bad feeling about someone or something with people around you, then talk to your partner, If you feel that this is important and your partner should know it, then you should tell it first or discuss with him or her. (In any possible communication ways) 
  • Knowing real issue. Quarrels take place among all of us. How to understand it, how to eliminate it, it is more important. If you start leaning towards someone else, instead of trying to solve what happened, instead of  going to the root of it and it will not work. (very common in nowadays relationships), Working not for something is very easy option. It is very easy to start and finish, but it is very difficult to keep something happily in your life for long. 

Concept of Trust and Loyalty :- 

A healthy relationship is built on grounds of trust,  loyalty and mutual understanding ( for me). If third person is getting involve in your relationship then you and your loyalty should be questioned. You’ve given the way, the right to third person to get involved and you have given enough space to shatter your existing relationship. Third person have nothing to lose ! You’ve the reasons to lose your love, just for getting attention and temporary excitement from that third person. 

Concluding

So lastly I want to say that instead of letting a third person into your relationship (causing hindrance in your beautiful relationship) and seeking useless advice from him or her, it’s better to talk to your partner, understand where you two are wrong and opt a mutual decision. If things  have the possibility and can sorted out it is well and good for both. And if it doesn’t work then come out of it and move on in much venerate manner. For many couples, third person in their relationship is temporary or causal partner but for some it may be permanent part of their lives (relationship).  With the above-mentioned subject making a third person as permanent part happens easily.

If you’ve started something of your own then live in it of your own and if it doesn’t makes you happy then end it of your own! If you know how to start with good, you will also have to learn to finish it.
